DEVELOPING

LYELL INSTITUTE
Serious Study in Service of Faithful Life
Lyell Institute is the developing research and advanced-study expression of Lyell. Its purpose is to bring careful biblical scholarship, historical inquiry, Jewish and Christian sources, responsible use of technology, and the Torah Pursuant Method into conversation with the formation of real people and communities.

What the Institute Is For
Knowledge is not the final product of our labor. The Institute is dedicated to producing careful biblical scholarship, better teachers, and responsible mentors who serve their communities with humility. We aim to equip people with the tools to distinguish what Scripture actually says from what interpreters merely infer, fostering intellectual integrity and spiritual depth.
The Institute discovers and teaches. The Press preserves and distributes. The Commons embodies and reproduces.
