The Derekh Program
A Journey in Discipleship, Leadership, and Ministry

Year 1 – Discipleship Year

Discipleship means walking after Yeshua the Messiah as His talmid (disciple). Every believer is called to this path. That is why our first year is the right beginning place for anyone who does not want to remain where they are. To follow Yeshua is to come face to face with God and with ourselves, and no one remains unchanged.

Our goal is to grow daily in the likeness of Yeshua, to walk faithfully in תּוֹרָה / Torah, to live in the power of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), and to gain clarity about our calling and place in God’s plan. Special attention is given not only to each student’s personal walk with God but also to life together as mishpachah (family), where love, honor, and encouragement are the foundation.

At the end of this year, students receive a Certificate in Discipleship.

Year 2 – Leadership Year

Leadership means serving others with vision and courage, shaping the community around us with the hope of the Kingdom. Yeshua said, “Pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest” (Matthew 9:38). The harvest is the work of building up the Kingdom of God in our time, in our families, among our friends, and within our congregations.

The second year prepares students to recognize their place in God’s plan, to speak with clarity about their faith, and to carry spiritual responsibility as co-laborers and leaders in the body of Messiah.

At the end of this year, students receive a Certificate in Leadership.

Year 3 – Ministry Year

Ministry means putting discipleship and leadership into practice in a way that blesses others. Torah-pursuant ministry is not only about public teaching but also about living faithfully before God and serving His people. This year emphasizes practical skills for shepherding house fellowships, leading worship, teaching Scripture, mentoring others, and extending God’s shalom in the wider community.

Students will be guided to integrate prayer, study, and service so that their lives reflect the heart of Yeshua and the wisdom of Torah. The aim is that every graduate becomes both a servant and a witness, equipped for lasting impact in their generation.

At the end of this year, students receive a Certificate in Ministry.
