One Torah folks often claim that Jews and Gentiles disappear into a mystical third identity called "In Christ." By that, they mean, salvation through Yeshua. But the Torah teaches that Jews and Gentiles have different obligations and requirements. Thus, the One Torah idea is fundamentally flawed. They also teach that Acts 15 tells Gentiles to go to the Synagogue each Sabbath to learn from Moses. However, going to synagogue was a path to table fellowship and not a command to slowly convert. After all, both Acts 15 and Paul's later writings command Gentiles not to convert (btw, circumcision is part of the Torah, so Gentiles obeying the Torah would have to be circumcised, which directly contradicts Acts 15). Also, the Yeshua-believing Pharisees wanted the Gentiles to be circumcised and to "keep the whole Law." Notice, these Pharisees were believers; they were Jewish. Their requirement was to keep the whole law, just like the One Torah folks. But keeping the Torah means the One Torah folks must admit that Jews and Gentiles are different according to the Torah.

โ€ข Eating carcasses โ€“ Jews may not eat animals that died naturally. Gentiles may eat them. (Deuteronomy 14:21)

โ€ข Passover participation โ€“ Jews are commanded to keep Passover. Gentiles may not eat it unless circumcised and joined to the covenant. (Exodus 12:43โ€“49; Numbers 9:13)

โ€ข Circumcision obligation โ€“ Every Jewish male is commanded to be circumcised. Gentiles are not required unless entering covenant status. (Genesis 17:10โ€“14)

โ€ข Sabbath as covenant sign โ€“ The Sabbath is given as a perpetual sign between YHWH and Israel. Gentiles receive Sabbath rest protection but are not assigned the covenant sign. (Exodus 20:10; Exodus 31:13โ€“17)

โ€ข Feast calendar observance โ€“ Israel is commanded to keep the appointed feasts. Gentiles are invited but not obligated. (Leviticus 23; Numbers 15:14)

โ€ข Dietary (kosher) laws โ€“ Israel is commanded to separate clean from unclean foods as part of holiness calling. Gentiles are not bound unless joining Israel. (Leviticus 11; Leviticus 20:24โ€“26)

โ€ข Priesthood service โ€“ The priesthood belongs exclusively to Aaronโ€™s descendants within Israel. Gentiles are prohibited from serving at the altar. (Leviticus 1:5; Numbers 18:1โ€“7)

โ€ข Kingship requirement โ€“ Israelโ€™s king must come from among his Jewish brethren. Gentiles may not rule over Israel. (Deuteronomy 17:15)

โ€ข Land inheritance โ€“ The Promised Land is divided by tribal inheritance among Israel alone. Gentiles do not receive permanent tribal land allotment. (Numbers 26:52โ€“56; Joshua 13โ€“21)

โ€ข Sanctuary access restrictions โ€“ Unauthorized foreigners were forbidden entry to sacred spaces near the Tabernacle and later the Temple. (Numbers 1:51; Numbers 3:10)

โ€ข National atonement rites โ€“ The corporate ritual of Yom Kippur was commanded specifically for the children of Israel. (Leviticus 16:29โ€“34)

โ€ข Judicial equality under law โ€“ Gentiles residing among Israel were bound to the same standards of justice, even without sharing covenant roles. (Numbers 15:15โ€“16; Leviticus 24:22)
